Magnolia Pictures International has licensed UK rights to Honeymoon in Cannes to Arrow Films.
Shooting Stars has picked up rights in the Middle East and Magnolia International’s sister company Magnet Releasing will distribute in the US later this year.
Leigh Janiak’s directorial debut stars Rose Leslie and Harry Treadaway as newlyweds whose lakeside honeymoon is disrupted when the bride begins to exhibit strange behavior.
Janiak co-wrote with Phil Graziadei and Patrick Baker and Esmé Howard produced.
Christina Rogers negotiated the deal with Tom Stewart of Arrow Films.
Magnolia International’s sales slate includes the Roger Ebert doc Life Itself screening in Cannes Classics, Irish comedies Standby and Life’s A Breeze, and horror anthology ABCs Of Death 2.
